Aisling O'Neill

 

Aisling is one of Ireland’s foremost television actors and voice over artists. 

 

Aisling trained at the Dublin School of acting and has since gone on to appear in films such as Anjelica Huston’s AGNES BROWNE, Liz Gill’s GOLDFISH MEMORY, and ACCELERATOR directed by Vinny Murphy, as well as the television series THE AMBASSADOR for the BBC.

 

She is perhaps best known for her role as Carol in RTE’s long-running and most popular soap FAIR CITY.


Aisling's most recent credits include the role of Suzanne in John B.Keane's THE CHASTITUTE directed by Michael Scott at The Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, THE LION'S SHARE directed by Owen O'Gorman, Graham Cantwell's award-winning short film LILY and Kavaleer Production's live action/animated short CITY OF ROSES, directed by Andrew Kavanagh (winner - Director's Choice Award at the Boston Irish Film Festival 2016).

Theatre credits include  DANCING AT LUGHNASA at the Gate, Sean O'Casey's THE SHADOW OF A GUNMAN and LOVERS by Brian Friel, both at the Irish Classical Theatre, New York, THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN at the Public Theatre, New York, THE MARK at the Project Arts Centre and Peter Sheridan’s WAITING FOR GODOT with Focus Theatre.

 

More recent theatre projects include THE DEAL directed by Liz Lloyd, Róisín McBrinn’s SLEEPING BEAUTY at the Helix, HEADBANGER directed by Karl Shiels  at Smock Alley Theatre and Isobel Mahon's BOOM directed by Caroline Fitzgerald at the Dolmen Theatre.
