Ger Kelly

 

Ger will soon be seen playing the role of Teddy in Netflix series BODKIN,  opposite Will Forte. He recently completed filming the role of Carl in feature film KING FRANKIE directed by Dermot Malone.

Other recent stage credits include Michael in the Musical PARCEL FROM AMERICA at Smock Alley Theatre, Frank in EVENING TRAIN at the Everyman Theatre for the Cork Midsummer Festival,George Wilson in THE GREAT GATSBY directed by Alexander Wright, HAMLET directed by Yaël Farber at The Gate Theatre and St. Ann's Warehouse New York, the role of The Balladeer in Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS, directed by Selina Cartmell; all at the Gate Theatre, TWELFTH NIGHT & OEPIDUS, both directed by Wayne Jordan along with the USA & Irish Tour of THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS, directed by Sean Holmes, for the Abbey Theatre,  THE SILVER TASSIE for Druid, directed by Garry Hynes and CONFUSION BOATS, a play that he wrote and performed in for the Dublin Fringe Festival; this went on to be nominated for the prestigious First Fortnight Award.

Further credits on stage and screen include LOVE/HATE & TRIVIA both for RTÉ, HEROIN, HISTORY, and THE FAMILY, directed by Grace Dyas for THEATREclub, WEDDING DAY AT CRO-MAGNONS and PHAEDRA'S LOVE, both directed by Jason Byrne for Loose Canon, THE BIG HOUSE, directed by Conall Morrison and THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, directed by Jason Byrne both at the Abbey Theatre.
