Kyle Hixon
Kyle recently filmed the role of McRee in THIS TOWN created by Steven Knight for BBC1/Kudos which is now showing on BBC iPlayer. He will soon be seen portraying the role of James McConville in SAY NOTHING for FX directed by Michael Lennox. On film he played the role of Neddy in feature film VERDIGRIS directed by Patricia Kelly which is nominated for Best Film at the IFTA Awards this year.
Further screen credits include the role of Pierre's Tailor in the Ridley Scott feature THE LAST DUEL and DUNGEONS & DRAGONS directed by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein.
On stage, he recently appeared in the role of Joe in THE CHIEF directed by Andrew Flynn for Decadent, LOST HEARTS at the Bewley’s Café Theatre, Marina Carr's adaptation of Virginia Woolf's TO THE LIGHTHOUSE directed by Annabelle Comyn for Everyman Cork. TALK TO ME and POP TART LIPSTICK at Glass Mask Theatre.
Other Stage credits include the title role in Mill Productions' HAMLET, X by Alistair MacDowell at the Lir Academy, the lead role of James in a Northern Ireland Tour of BLACKOUT for the Lyric Theatre Belfast, the role of Skank in IN ARABIA WE'D ALL BE KINGS for Some Yank's Theatre, the role of Phillip in ORPHANS, for Breaking Good/Alchemy 8, Tom Meadows/Ensemble, in BORSTAL BOY directed by Conall Morrison at the Gaiety Theatre, Jacob in SOME BAFFLING MONSTER for Dick Walsh/Pan Pan, and Medvedenko in THE SEAGULL AND OTHER BIRDS, directed by Gavin Quinn for Pan Pan.
