Harry Butler ​

Harry is an acclaimed actor and writer and a graduate of The Lir Academy.

​

He has just wrapped filming the role of Det. Garda Fitzpatrick in the BBC series THE MURDER OF MR MOONLIGHT, directed by Dathai Keane and Rachel Carey.

​

He recently reprised his role in his own play, SORRY YOU FELT THAT WAY, at The Hope Theatre, London, and Smock Alley Theatre. Directed by Anthony Biggs, the production previously ran at Theatre503 and Project Arts Centre as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival, where it received the Fishamble New Writing Award.

Recent screen credits include the role of Oliver in THE 12 DATES OF CHRISTMAS for Hallmark, directed by Emer Conroy, and the short film THE AXE FORGETS, directed by John Christopher.

Further theatre credits include STAGING THE TREATY and BOOK OF NAMES for ANU, both directed by Louise Lowe. His self-penned comedy CHANGING THE SHEETS was performed at Smock Alley Theatre and the Assembly Rooms as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Harry also appeared in DEADLY CUTS, directed by Rachel Carey for O’Sullivan Productions and Virgin Media Television.

Harry is based in London and Dublin.
