Jack Olohan

 

Jack Olohan is an Irish actor, writer and director with extensive experience across film, television, theatre and radio.

​

His screen credits include VIKINGS, GAME OF THRONES, PENNY DREADFUL and SWANSONG: OCCi VS THE WORLD, as well as numerous short films. He also appeared alongside his father, John Olohan, in WHAT NOW?, which he wrote and directed.

​

His theatre credits include Sam Byk in Rough Magic’s ASSASSINS, directed by Ronan Phelan, and OPENING UP with Fishamble Theatre Company, which formed part of the acclaimed Whereabouts Festival.

As a writer, Jack’s radio play THINKING AHEAD was Runner-Up in the 2009 PJ O’Connor Award before being produced and broadcast by RTÉ Radio 1. He also co-created and managed Radiomade.ie, a podcast platform covering music, film, sport, politics and popular culture.

​

Jack has extensive experience behind the camera, having written and directed several independent films and produced the documentary short LIMERICK CITY SUICIDE PATROL.

He trained in Film Studies at Ballyfermot College and has further training in playwriting, screen acting, and content development.
