Macleod Stephen

​

Macleod is a graduate of the Bachelor of Acting course at The Lir Academy.

​

He can currently be seen in the role of Pierce in Season 2 of BBC series GRANITE HARBOUR. Macleod is currently filming the role of Fergus Harris in BBC series SHETLAND.

​

Recent stage credits include BALLYBRIDGEWATER by Ultan Pringle for the 24 Hour Plays at the Abbey Theatre, and the role of Kevin in Verdant's gender-reversed production of Mamet's SPEED THE PLOW directed by Andy Crook and Janet Moran. For Anú Productions'  he played Seamus Robinson in STAGING THE TREATY directed by Louise Lowe and various roles in MIASMA directed by Samantha Cade.

While at The Lir, he played Sergei Bassov in SUMMERFOLK directed by Tom Creed, Caesar in JULIUS CAESAR directed by Marc Atkinson Borrull, Dave in THE ANTIPODES directed by Ronan Phelan, and George in THE UNRETURNING directed by Jack Reardon.

 

Macleod has bases in Dublin, London, and Scotland.
