Seán Duggan

Seán's recent credits include the role of Mr Elliott in Channel 5 series THE HARACRES directed by Kieron J. Walsh, Hans Brask in feature film STOCKHOLM BLOODBATH directed by Mikael Håfström, Conor Cruise O'Brien in feature film HAMMARSKJÖLD and Man Ray opposite Kate Winslet in the feature film LEE directed by Ellen Kuras.  

Other credits include TV series CLEAN SWEEP, ITV series REDEMPTION, the Disney+ feature DISENCHANTED, Dutch TV series THE SPECTACULAR, BBC/Hulu series NORMAL PEOPLE, A+E series MISS SCARLET & THE DUKE, feature film HERSELF directed by Phyllida Lloyd, BBC Series DUBLIN MURDERS ,  the role of Garda Dez Breen in Virgin Media series BLOOD, the role of 'The Man' in Yorgos Lanthimos’s acclaimed feature film ‘THE LOBSTER’,  Matt in the BBC/Hulu series NORMAL PEOPLE, Padre in the tv series MISS SCARLET & THE DUKE directed by Declan O'Dwyer for A+E Studios, Brice in the BBC Series, DUBLIN MURDERS directed by John Hayes for Element Pictures.  He was also recently seen in Jacques Audiard’s western ‘THE SISTERS BROTHERS’ which stars Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal and John C Reilly and in the third season of AMC’s ‘INTO THE BADLANDS’.

 

He featured in  ‘THE PROFESSOR AND THE MADMAN’, directed by Farhad Safinia and starring Sean Penn and Mel Gibson in which Seán plays the supporting role of ‘Tom Coleman’, and Elfar Adalsteins’ new feature ‘END OF SENTENCE’ starring Logan Lerman and John Hawkes.

 

Further film and television credits include ‘Mr Grub’ in ‘THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS’ directed by Bharat Nalluri, a role in Yorgos Lanthimos’s acclaimed feature film ‘THE LOBSTER’, ‘Evans' in ‘ALL IS BY MY SIDE’, and ‘Liam’ in ‘KILLING BONO’. On the small screen he is best known for the part of ‘Ernie’ in Billie Roche’s ‘CLEAN BREAK’.

 

Recent theatre work has included HAMLET at the National Opera House for Volta Theatre Collective, ‘BEES’ at the Ark for Willfredd/Dublin Theatre Festival and ‘ALL THAT FALL’ with Out Of Joint directed by Max Stafford-Clark.
