Liam Bixby


Liam is a recent graduate from The Three Year Bachelor in Acting (Hons) Course at

The Lir Academy (2021).

He recently played the title role in The Gate Theatre production of PETER PAN adapted by Roddy Doyle and directed by Ned Bennett.

He can currently be seen playing the role of Andy in Season 2 of the critically acclaimed BBC series WRECK and as Doyle in BBC short film GALAXY DANCE.

He was recently seen on stage in the role of Niall in WAITING FOR THE OFFO by Mahon McCann for Bosco Productions. In May he will return to the role of Conor in Thisispopbaby's critically acclaimed production PARTY SCENE by Philip Connaughton & Philly McMahon for an Irish/German Tour.


Other recent credits include the role of Roderick II in Thornton Wilder's THE LONG CHRISTMAS DINNER directed by Raymond Keane & Sarah Jane Scaife (**Nominated for Best Ensemble at the Irish Times Theatre Awards 2021/22**) which returned to the Peacock at The Abbey Theatre for the 2022 Christmas Season and GOOD SEX for Dead Centre. He can also be seen in the role of Eamon in the Screen Ireland short UROBOROS directed by Diarmuid Donohoe and was featured on screen in Edna O'Brien's JOYCE'S WOMEN at the Abbey Theatre.

Radio/Podcast credits include the role of Hunter in Ultan Pringle's critically acclaimed series FRUIT for LemonSoap Productions.

Credits at The Lir include the roles of Ronan in Gillian Greer's MEAT directed by Franzisca Detrez, Sebastian/Curio in Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT directed by Davey Kelleher, Brian in Annie Baker's THE ANTIPODES directed by Ronan Phelan, and various roles in Anna Jordan's THE UNRETURNING directed by Jack Reardon.

Liam is a native of Newburyport, Massachusetts but is based in Dublin.
