Maria Oxley Boardman 

Maria is from Westmeath and is best known for playing Dearbhla Dillon in the long-running RTÉ drama series FAIR CITY. She is about to appear on stage playing the role of Elena in UNCLE VANYA directed by Cathal Cleary at Smock Alley for Once Off Productions. 

This year Maria filmed the role of Eliza in HAUNTED HARMONY MYSTERIES: BURIED AT C for Hallmark, directed by Linda-Lisa Hayter, and most recently wrapped on the short film YOU AND ME MAKES THREE filmed in London, directed by Emmalie El Fadli.

She played the role of Laura in Olivia McLaughlin’s short film PARTING, which premiered at THE GALWAY FILM FLEADH 2025. Her screen work also includes feature films FIVE AND A HALF LOVE STORIES directed by Tomas Vengris, Robert Manson’s HOLY ISLAND, and Malgorzata Szumowska’s THE OTHER LAMB.

On stage, Maria’s credits include Fran in THE SISTERS OF CASTLEKNOCK HOUSE (Edinburgh Fringe Festival / Limerick Fringe Festival) and Charlotte in IMPOSTER SYNDROME (Scene and Heard Festival).

Maria is a graduate of the Bow Street Academy Acting Programme.
