Róisín Murphy

 

Róisín Murphy is a promising young Irish actress who trained for 7 years at The Gaiety School of Acting.

 

Róisín most recently filmed the role of Amelia Evans in A+E Series, MISS SCARLET & THE DUKE. Other recent credits include the role of Elsewith in History's VIKINGS, Kay in the feature THE LODGERS directed by Brian O'Malley, OUR UNFENCED COUNTRY directed by Niamh Heery, and Bobby Moresco's THE HUNDRED CODE with Dominic Monaghan.

Further film and television credits include BLINK, a short film by Conor Maloney, ROADKILL directed by Johannes Roberts, WHO'S NEXT directed by Ian Power, STARDUST directed by Ciarán Donnelly, and THE CLINIC directed by Robert Quinn, (both for RTÉ).
 

Róisín was cast in the role of Lara Hogan opposite Jack Reynor in Lenny Abrahamson’s critically acclaimed WHAT RICHARD DID and recieved an IFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance.

Róisín is based in Dublin.
