Rory Corcoran

 

Rory holds a Bachelor in Acting degree from The Lir Academy at Trinity College Dublin (in partnership with RADA).

 

Rory most recently appeared as John Hinckley Jr. in the Gate Theatre production of ASSASSINS directed by Selina Cartmell,  and in THE FAERIE THORN directed by Zoe Seaton for Big Telly Theatre company, which toured across Ireland and the UK and travelled to Dresden, Germany in 2017.

Other credits include the role of Chadwick Meade in PUNK ROCK at The Lyric Theatre in Belfast directed by Selina Cartmell, SAINTS AND SINNERS directed by Cathal Quinn at the New Theatre, THE WINDSTEALERS directed by Anushka Senanayake for Eccles Theatre Group at Smock Alley Theatre,the RTÉ series REBELLION directed by Aku Louhimies and the role of Jo, A Waiter in The Abbey Theatre's production of YOU NEVER CAN TELL directed by Conall Morrison.

 

Rory's work with the Lir includes roles in SCENES FROM THE BIG PICTURE directed by Nona Sheppard, MARY STUART directed by Conall Morrisson, TWELFTH NIGHT and LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST both directed by Hilary Wood, and ANTIGONE directed by Annabelle Comyn.

Rory is based in Dublin
