Gemma Kane
Gemma is a graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting. She recently wrapped filming on KIN Series 3 for AMC/RTÉ.
Gemma wrote and starred as Leah in the short film THE RACE, directed by Edelle Kenny, which premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival 2026. Inspired by her own family and Northside Dublin roots, the film is an authentic portrait of a working-class Dublin family and was supported by the National Talent Academies Short Film Fund.
Her recent screen credits include the role of Susanna Mayfair in MAYFAIR WITCHES S2 for AMC, Pamela in short film YOUNG PEOPLE OF IRELAND, Ronnie Farrell in the feature film TWIG, directed by Marian Quinn, and Isla in A MERRY SCOTTISH CHRISTMAS for Hallmark.
Further screen credits include Christine in COMMUNITY WATCH, which Gemma also wrote; Erica in her self-penned short THE REST IN JELLIES, which she also produced; Netflix series VIKINGS: VALHALLA; Red in TV series COLD COURAGE; VIKINGS; and short film THE WII FIT, directed by Laura Way.
On stage, Gemma appeared as Tiger Lily in The Gate Theatre's production of PETER PAN, adapted by Roddy Doyle and directed by Ned Bennett. Her theatre work also includes THE IMPROV DIARIES, directed by Ali Fox at Scene + Heard Festival.
